For concrete reinforcing you would need to use straight reo bar (y-bar) that is 6 meters in length, we also cut to size. and various sizes from 6 – 28mm can be used, note that it can all come galvanised and the option of being bent to make Z-bars, L-bars, and even ligatures to a specific size. To hold all this together you use tie wire they come 1.5kg, and 3kg rolls also with the choice of galvanised. Trench mesh will also be used; they are 6m long and in 8mm, 11mm, and 12mm bar size from 200mm to 500mm wide.
When working with trench mesh, you will need ligatures that have various sizes between 150 to 400mm squared using 6mm reo. For any convenience of transport you can use Ute mesh which comes specially sized at 2 x 4 meters, and the diameter of 6mm, or 7mm bar. Beneath the slab you can put orange film that is only 0.2mm thick which are in rolls of 40m2, 100m2, 200m2. To stop concrete from cracking under heat you can use ableflex expansion joint which comes 25m long at 50mm, 100mm, or 150mm wide, also jointex will do the same job, sizes are 2.44mm long at 60mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm or 150mm wide.
